Meet Your Therapist

Hi! I'm Rachel.  I am a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) licensed in Oregon.  I am originally from Atlanta, Georgia and have 16 years of experience as an SLP.  I have experience working in multiple settings and find my true passions lie in working with individuals who use AAC, building self awareness and self advocacy skills, finding motivation in the every day and empowering my clients to live their best lives.  

 

I embody a neurodiversity affirming practice and enjoy challenging my clients using functional tasks that are meaningful and client/family specific.  I draw from my professional training and experience as well as constantly seeking out evidence-based practices to incorporate in my therapy visits.  I thoroughly enjoy working with parents to empower them to engage with their children in new and meaningful ways.  

 

In my spare time I enjoy reading, swimming, biking and hiking, practicing Yoga, traveling and exploring new restaurants.
