Supported school teams, families and other professionals with implementation of AAC software, low and high tech. Led professional development, provided ongoing training to school staff, parents and ABA providers. Obtained funding for personal devices and provided ongoing support to AAC users and their caregivers.

Acute inpatient rehabilitation hospital serving adults with neurological impairment such as stroke, multiple sclerosis and Parkinson's disease. Daily collaboration with other members of the therapy team including PT, OT, nursing, case management, the PM&R doctor and the family. Performed Modified Barium Swallow Study (MBSS).

Elementary school serving students with articulation, language and social skill needs. Served students with autism spectrum disorders, Down syndrome and learning disabilities. Inclusion focused school with collaboration between the Life Skills program and the general education teachers. Â Co-taught language lessons and developed an executive functioning lesson plan for 5th and 6th graders with the focus on organization, planning and time managment.

Inpatient rehabilitation unit serving adults with traumatic brain injury, stroke and other neurologial impairments. Facilitated cognitive and language therapy for memory loss, difficulty with problem solving and aphasia/apraxia.

Travel therapist position for Santa Clara County Education in San Jose, California. Â Worked with students in the special programs with severe autism and developmental delay. Â Trained in use of the Pragmatic Organizational Dynamic Display (PODD) communication system. Â Second travel assignment in the Klamath Falls City Schools at an elementary and middle school servicing students with articulation and language delays as well as developing several social skills groups for students on the autism spectrum.

Â Performed Modified Barium Swallow Study (MBSS) and Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) and collaborated with members of the therapy team.

Inpatient rehabilitation unit servicing infants and children with traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury and other neurological impairments. Â Provided language, cognitive and return to school focused therapy. Â Facilitated family education and group therapy sessions with the child life specialist.
